Mark and I got to do a photography portrait session last weekend of some really cute 4 year old twins at a beautiful Georgetown location. The parents hired Mark Lovett Photography in Gaithersburg, MD for the photo session with the purpose of getting some reference shots for an oil painting. Mark and I were thrilled to do it, and it didn’t hurt that the twins were adorable and wearing such cute clothes. The dress the little girl was wearing was actually made by her Grandmother. When Mark shoots for reference photos, he treats the lighting differently, less contrast and more flat lighting as to minimize any shadows on faces. The twins were very well behaved considering their age. It’s not easy keeping the attention of a four year old, let alone two of them! But I brought some treats to help with a little bribery, which goes a long way with young children. Below are some of the awesome results.
