Just had a lot of fun on a photography session at Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in Bethesda, MD, with the beautiful graduating senior, Arianna. My daughter, Braeden, graduated from Stone Ridge High School a few years ago, so I’m very familiar with the campus, and partial to a few spots for photography..
I really love to capture a variety of natural portraits that bring out the best in the seniors. I use natural light, as well as flash when needed, and love shooting with as wide an aperture as possible.
It’s always a challenge obtaining natural movement and flattering angles with beautiful light! I have worked quite a bit with models over the years, and I’m very good at helping people find flattering, natural, interesting poses, and creating or finding the beautiful light.
In addition, I spend a great deal of time post processing the images after a photo session taking artistic liberties and adding my personal artist touches to each image. I keep them real, natural and beautiful.
The pictures dont come out of the camera perfectly cropped, color-balanced, edited, touched etc.. It takes a lot of work to capture the images, and much more work creating art from the images in post processing, but I love it!
